Las Vegas Sands Sponsors Pennsylvania Gaming Congress

With the Second Annual Pennsylvania Gaming Congress taking place on March 7, two key sponsors – Las Vegas Sands Corp. and Jefferies & Company – are making their presence known in the news. Las Vegas Sands especially has good reason to participate in the Gaming Congress, for they have applied for a Category 2 license to build a casino resort in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Having already successfully spawned The Venetian, The Palazzo, and Sands Macao, the casino operator is looking for another major success in the land of American Forefathers.

As for Jefferies & Company, this global investment bank has a strong presence in the gambling industry. Specializing in offering creative financial solutions and investment trading, Jeffries puts much of its focus in gaming related services and companies. Both companies, together, will be representing much of what it takes to keep the gambling industry afloat, while their sponsorship of the Gaming Congress is a testament to growing gambling market in Pennsylvania.

With over five-hundred different gambling professional expected to attend the Congress, including all of Pennsylvania’s racino operators (six race track casinos total) and stock market analysts, the Pennsylvania Gaming Congress is fast becoming one of the largest organized U.S. gambling conventions on the map. The Gaming Congress will have a cocktail reception on the evening of March 6, followed by a full day of activities on the seventh. It promises to bring into light all of the potentialities the growing casino gambling industry has in the state of Pennsylvania.

More Online Casinos Catering to Women

With the increase in female gamblers online, and a track record that shows no looming demographic decline, online casino operators are smart to cater to the women and give them something to identify with more so than most of the male-oriented online casinos parading scantily clad women and then some. There have always been a few well-known female focused online gambling sites, such as Gambling Goddess (a fine casino guide for women by women) and well as a handful of women’s only online bingo parlors. As for online casinos, there has been a somewhat limited selection until more recently.

As the name so subtly suggests, Lady’s Casino is one such betting site that caters to the female gamblers. They have developed a fair reputation so far, and are building a player base of – you guessed it – ladies. The casino published a press release focusing on their $1,0000 bonus (long term with many conditions) for new members as well as their selection of ten large jackpots. Sorry guys, (at least some of you) for this casino does not show pictures of half-naked women. Instead, they have a Hunk of the Month and news all about female gamblers.

To be honest, after looking at their website, Lady’s Casino seems more like a name and not an actual service catered to ladies. Aside from a nice design with a female touch, the Hunk of the Month, and some horoscopes that seem to only urge players to spend more money, Lady’s Casino is lacking a bit of originality. It looks as if Lady’s casino is operated by a company that operates many generic online casinos with nothing much to offer except casino games.
